This 35 page guide is full of ways to help you stay organized with your numbers throughout the year and to have a better understanding of taxes for your creative small business.
I am a wedding photographer based in Ohio, so you will notice information from the Ohio Department of Taxation as well as some examples relating to photography businesses. This information is still great to know and be aware of for those of you not in Ohio. This gives you a chance to know what information to search for within your own state.
This guide is intended for service-based businesses because I am sharing the knowledge I’ve learned with running my own service based photography business. I do, however, touch on sales tax information and provide helpful organizational tips that I believe can be beneficial for everyone!
I am not an accountant or tax professional, but I want to share the information I’ve learned over the past 5 years along with some helpful tips for my fellow creative small business owners and how it can specifically relate to them.
