Wedding trends come and go, but this one has been around for quite some time, and I don’t think it is going anywhere soon. As a wedding photographer, I of course love this trend and recommend it to all of my brides, but there is something in addition to this part of the day that I think is commonly missed.
So, you probably already know what I am talking about, given the title of this blog post, the first look. This have become a standard question for wedding photographers and almost half of my couples chose to go with this option each year. The most common fear for a bride, (or groom), is to not get/have the reaction they are so heavily anticipating. So, I have a little tip on how to guarantee a special moment for all of you brides out there. Do a Father/ Daughter first look! This part of the day guarantees tears in my eyes and is one of the most sweetest moments I’ve ever witnessed. You can do this in addition to your first look with your groom or instead of, but it is always an amazing moment and is one of my favorites things to capture as a wedding photographer.
